Definitely, one of the most beautiful butterfly i've ever seen. The jade colored wing with bright orange hind wing patch made this butterfly stands out from the other.

This yellow band palmer can be seen quite easy in our park. And the striking yellow band made it quite easy to recognized.

Somehow this hesperiid become abundant in our park, once we know the host plant. Always perched in forest area of our park this shades loving butterfly brought the its jade colored wing to the darker forest.
Pintara pinwilli
We found a new member to our butterfly park. On the 10th of February 2008, this striking orange colored hesperiid seen sipping on murraya flowers. Pintara pinwilli is the latin name for the striking hesperiid. With the flourish rainy season, we hope we can find many more new species in our park.

This lovely hesperiid love shade very much. Often found resting on top of fern leaves. This butterfly is quite common in Gita Persada
